The 7th Annual Gurney Lane Fat Bike race and fun day will take place on Saturday January 17th at Gurney Lane Recreation Area in Queensbury, NY. There will be a 5K snowshoe running race at 10 AM followed by a day of Fat tire riding and racing.
The Fat tire race will start at 1 PM. This year we will be back to a mass start for the races. If snow conditions do not permit, we will use a staggered start. Racers wil be sent off Long race first then the shorter race.
At Noon there will be a no-drop intermediate group ride, limited to 25 riders so please pre-reg!
There are indoor heated bathrooms and warming area. A huge indoor pavilion to hang out in and some great trails. Come on out and ride and have some fun. There will be an approximately 5 mile and 10 Mile Race as well as some fat bike demos. Come on out and enjoy the day
All money goes to support the purchase of a Grooming machine for Gurney lane and the surrounding trails. Any donations are gratefully accepted.
