Tupelo Community Forest is a 145-acre forest with 3 miles of narrow trails at 250 Greene Rd, Greenfield Center, NY, 10 minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs. Tupelo was created to provide a welcoming forest recreation experience for kids and families in Saratoga County. Get the trail map on Trailforks.

The forest is open to the public, and its parking area and trailhead at 250 Greene Road, Greenfield Center, NY 12833, is open under a Special Use Permit from the Town of Greenfield.

Master trail builders WPM Trails (founded by Steve Ovitt and now owned by Zach Rabeler, known for Gurney Lane Bike Park) built these trails in 2020 and 2021 to be fun for beginner and intermediate mountain bikers, as well as hikers, cross-country skiers, and snowshoers. Tupelo’s parking area provides convenient access to a grove of 800-year-old tupelo trees (nyssa sylvatica) in adjacent Lincoln Mountain State Forest. (Read more about the tupelos here.)
