Daniels Road Trail Day Wrap Up

All week the forecast said rain and…it rained. But that didn’t stop over 30 hard-core SMBA members from coming out and working for 4+ hours on our trails. Huge shout out to all of the folks who blew leaves-some of you even came earlier in the week or earlier in the morning. Legends!

We had an ambitious list of projects and we crushed it. Trails were blown. Drains were made. A reroute was raked in on Full Monkey across the swampy area. Lines were smoothed out. Berms and drains on Sniffer aka SST were built. Best of all, a new connector was made from Goody to Monkey! We are so very appreciative of the folks who showed up: riders, hikers, friends…we love you! And thank to Tammy for reaching out to Fresh Market for a donation of the best burgers we ever had!
