Gurney Excalibur Bridge Day
Saturday, September 26 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: 118 Gurney Lane, Queensbury, NY, United States, New York 12804
Join the SMBA Queensbury Chapter for our first of many projects at Gurney! We’re replacing the rotted wooden bridge at the bottom of Excalibur with a durable, pressure-treated lumber structure and constructing a brand-new alternate stone-bridge line using rocks on-site.
We need 12+ volunteers! Strong backs and skillful hands are welcome. We’ll have tools on-site, but feel free to bring extra (shovels, pickaxes, pry bars, and work gloves).

Daniels Road / Graphite Range Trail Day & Volunteer Appreciation Picnic

Location: Daniels Road State Forest & Graphite Range Community Forest
Join us for a morning of trail maintenance across Daniels Road State Forest and Graphite Range Community Forest, followed by our annual volunteer appreciation picnic in the DEC lot. Food and drinks provided to celebrate everyone who made this season’s work possible!
